If I have a lot of product build up Step 1 becomes Bentonite Clay Treatment.

If my hair feels very dry and in need of love I do Blended Therapy Hot Oil Treatment and deep condition same time.

If I just took down braids or some reason my hair is super tangled I use Knots Be Gone Hair Detangler but if it’s a little just normal detangling I use conditioner is shower

If my hair doesn’t have product build up, pretty clean or Im rushing then I skip Steps 1 and 2 and use Cowash me Cleansing Conditioner to Cowash my hair, which gets it clean.

Wash Day Step Details
I wash my hair every week or sometimes 2 times a week depending on how my hair feels. The following is how I was on a regular day not when I cowash

Step 0: I apply either Honey and Sage Deep Conditioner or Blended Therapy Hot Oil Treatment to my hair for 15mins or however long I can leave it in.

Step 1: To begin in the shower I wet my hair. Then I put a little Alikay Naturals Shampoo in my hand and lather in. Usually I lather one side at a time. I rub my hands on my scalp not circular motion since that causes tangles (See video)

Step 2: Then I rinse my hair with warm water, while massaging my scalp to help lift off any excess dirt or gunk.

Step 3: Then I apply my Alikay Naturals Conditioner to my hair smoothing it in section by section. Then I clip up on side and start with the right side. I grab a section and smooth the conditioner in some more. I then detangle gently with my fingers to start.

Step 4: Then I tilt my head under the shower to let the water run through to help add more slip as I detangle same time under the water with my shower comb.(See video)

Step 5: Then once detangled I put that section into a big braid to keep it from shrinking and retangling ( See video)

Step 6: I repeat that step until my entire head is detangled and braided. When I finish I usually have 4 braids. I then tilt my head under water again to ensure I got majority but not all of my conditioner out. I shake my hair and then exit shower.

Step 7: I shake my hair and exit the shower. I use a clean towel to pat dry/squeeze dry my braids. I DO NOT rub back and forth that cause friction which causes breakage.

Step 8:Once my hair is pat dried, I begin my SEAL THE MOISTURE STEPS. I spray on My Lemongrass Leave in Conditioner and run my fingers gently over the braids to ensure they are soaking it in.

Step 9: Then I run on a small amount of Shine Crave Hair Glosser

Step 10: Then I 1 braid at a time and rub on my moisturizer of choice. Usually Shea Yogurt Hair Moisturizer, because I have dry hair. I massage that in well then style my hair.

An example of a style would be if Im doing a twistout I would paddle brush/comb my hair out or finger comb my hair then two strand twist it. Once its dried I unravel it, fluff my hair and rub on my shine crave hair glosser.

That’s all for normal wash days.

SKIN

Face

Step 1: If my face is dry and skin isn’t soft I wash my face with Green Tea Chai Face Scrub in the morning. This usually means 1 or 2 times per week.

Step 2:
Each morning I wash my face with Amazing Black Soap even if I don’t do face scrub that day.

Step 3: I don’t follow with moisturizer usually since my skin is naturally oily, but if needed in winter I rub on some Shea So Real

Step 4: At least 1 time per week I do a Bentonite clay face mask, usually I do this on the weekend usually. I also make sure to do this when It is “lady time” when I am about to have a skin breakout so I can cleanse and detox my skin.

Step 5: Mid- week once per week I do my Mud Face Mask Treatment

Step 6: Every night before I go to bed I wash my face with Amazing Black Soap

Step 7: After washing my face, I rub a small amount of Majestic Beauty Stretch Mark and Scar Remover on my dark spots and chin where I still have acne scarring.
